The Northern Star

Fairbanks is about as distant and unassuming a place as one will find on the college hockey map. And given its geographic location (smack in the middle of the Alaskan interior), and the atmosphere that brings (daylights lasts from about 11 am to 3:30 pm this time of year), one might think that recruiting to this 'final frontier' of a town might be as difficult a task as any.
